The Jaguar F-Type, the spiritual successor to the famous E-Type, was offered as the replacement for the Jaguar XK, with the convertible version introduced at the Sundance Film Festival in London, with the aggressive coupe unveiled to the world in 2013 at the Los Angeles & Tokyo Motor Shows. The convertible models had to come first due to the massive American demand, but the coupe was defiantly well worth the wait, as the total presentation was staggeringly beautiful from every aspect. Jaguar as a company wanted this new model to be massively dramatic on a visual level, but at the same time needed the now dated XK to be a very distant memory to both new and old clients to the Jaguar brand. Jaguar as a manufacturer has a wealth of historical past racing heritage, along with being able to offer some of the most desirable and distinctive cars of all time, and this new F-Type model was not going to disappoint the eager buyers. Fitted from factory with the three-litre V6 supercharged engine, this produces a more than healthy 380 brake horsepower with a torque reading of 339, which will easily accelerate both driver and passenger from 0–62 mph in just 4.9 seconds and then will further glide to an electrically limited top speed of 171 mph, with all this power controlled by the fabulous automatic transmission.
