3. MODEL HISTORY

Ever Since 1948, Land Rover Has Offered The World The Mighty Land Rover Defender, With The First Formally Known As The Land Rover Series One. During The Continuous Run Of A Staggering 67 Years, The Model Changed Only Very Slightly, With The Defender 90 Being Showcased To The World In 1984. This New Offering Was Basically An Up To Date Version Of The First Models Produced, Featuring The Same Basic And Unique Exterior Design, With Exceptional Off-Road Capabilities, But Now The Company Wanted To Make This Model More Desirable To A Wider Audience, Thus Introducing A Better Level Of Revised More Relevant Interior Equipment, Which Was Better Suited To The Modern Day Driver. During The Years, The Land Rover Defender Was Heavily Used As An All In Out And Capable Four Wheel Drive, With The Order Banks Mainly Being Secured By Land Owners, Military Forces From Every Corner Of The Planet, Police Departments On Every Continent And Even Key Members Of The British Royal Family.

4. INTERIOR

As part of our Heritage build process all Defenders that go through this have their interiors stripped out completely & have the bulkhead removed ready for their new interior to be fitted. This example is fitted with luxury carpets to the front and rear with front footwell over-mats, Stinger unit that incorporates Satellite Navigation and Apple CarPlay, rear Exmoor front facing seats are added in with Sand Nappa Leather front seats. Leather top cubby box, Tan Nappa Leather alongside the four-piece dashboard set with all interior dials as well as the centre console trim being removed and replaced with colour coded Keswick Green components with the final touch being the removeable wood Momo steering wheel and leather trimmed gearstick gator.

5. EXTERIOR

Finished in factory Keswick Green with the Sand Canvas Roof. Our Heritage design Defenders are fitted with the colour coded Heritage grill, silver front bumper, 16" Keswick Green steel wheels, singular side steps, swing away rear door with spare wheel carrier.
