2. SPECIFICATION

This incredible example has had only 1 owner since 2 months old and has covered a genuine 18000 miles from new. Fully restored in 2015 to include a full bare metal rotisserie respray, new interior, full re-chroming of all brightwork (at a cost of £312,000) This is a matching numbers car complete with original manuals, tool roll and jack, a factory hardtop and the all important commemorative plaque on the glove box cover. The chassis number sequence commenced at 2822 making this example the 4th off the production line.....

3. MODEL HISTORY

The final 50 RHD Roadsters were built as a final edition to formally mark the end of the E-Type production. These were known as the Commemorative and each were finished in Black Paint and Cinnamon leather apart from one green car made specially for a Jaguar collector. There was a choice of manual and automatic, 19 automatic and 31 manuals were produced. The first of the 50th Commemoratives was built on the 15th May 1974 and E-Type production offically closed with the last car one month later on the 12th June. A bronze plaque adorns each example bearing the chassis number and William Lyons signature....
