2. Model History

The Lotus Evora Started Development Back In 2006 Under The Code Name Project Eagle, With This All New Model Offered By The British Car Manufacturer At The July 2008 British International Motor Show. This Brand New Model Was Still To Follow Suit With Great Past Lotus Cars Of Yesteryear, Offering The Driver And Passenger An Exciting Driving Experience, That Was Still Capable To Thrill No Mater The Driving Conditions, But Now With A Longer Body Than The Elise, Was Considered By The Manufacturer To Be A More Practical Road Going Race Car That Would Appeal To The Mainstream Of New Buyers Into The Lotus Brand. The Name "Evora" Was To Keep With The Lotus Traditions Of Beginning Model Names With The Letter "E", With The Evora Basically Meaning Evolution, Vogue and Aura, Which Suited This Exciting All-New Lotus, So Very Well. The Car Was First Introduced With The Two Plus Two Seat Configuration, A First For The Factory, However, The Rear Seating Was Viewed As Being Completely Pointless, Unless Used For Potential Additional Storage, So We Believe The The Two Plus Zero Seating Arrangement Works So Much Better For The Total Cabin Area. The Evora Was Built With The Three And A Half Litre V6 Engine That Produced A Rather Healthy 280 Brake Horse Power And Due To The Whole Body Having Very Minimal Weight, This Power Was Capable Of Accelerating From 0-62 In Just 4.8 Seconds And Offering A Top Speed Of 163 MPH.

3. Interior

The Interior Of The Evora Offers The Driver And Passenger An Environment Of Extreme Drama, But Still At The Same Point Is Well Spaced, Meaning That Every Trip Can Be Highly Exciting And Perfectly Comfortable, No Matter The Distance. From Factory Build This Vehicle Was Opted With The Recaro Cream Leather Sport Seats, The Leather Trimmed Gear Selector, Fabric Roof Lining, The Leather-Trimmed Hand Brake Lever, Black Carpets, A Black Leather Dash That Wraps Around The Cabin And Finished With Polished Metal Inlays That Finish The Effect Off Perfectly.

The Sculptured Body Is Presented In The Quartz Grey Metallic, Which Perfectly Showcases The Aggressive Exterior Curves And The Distinctive Lotus Lines. Further Exterior Treats Are Presented With The Unmarked Black 18/19" Alloy Wheels Which All Sit On Branded Tyres, The Twinned Smoked Centred Exhaust Tips, The Blackened Front Bumper Mesh Grilles, The Signature Sculptured Roof Wrapped In Gloss Black, The Carved Rear Boot Spoiler, The Mesh Bonnet Vents And Decorated With Black Lotus Badging.
