The Glorious Aston Martin DBS V12 Was To Be The Ultimate Replacement For The Mighty Hand Built Vanquish S, With Many Eager Buyers And Enthusiasts Having Their First Glimpse Of This Radical Mouth-Watering New Offering During The 2006 James Bond Film 'Casino Royale', With The Car Featuring In One Of The Film's Most Memorable And Dramatic Moments, Rolling Seven Times And In Turn Setting A New World Record. New Clients Then Had To Wait A Further Year Before Aston Martin Would Introduce The Car Further With The First Official Reveal At The 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance And Then At The 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, With Orders To Be For Filled In 2008. The Elegant Sleek Body Was Made With Aluminium, Magnesium Alloy And Carbon Fibre, With The All Alloy 5.9 Litre V12 Producing A Rather Healthy 510 BHP Capable Of Accelerating Both The Driver And The Excited Passenger From 0-62 MPH In Just 4.1 Seconds And Would Easily Climb To A Massive 191 MPH Top Speed. The DBS V12 coupe had been in production for over a year when the Volante version was first shown at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. Whilst the coupe was a direct replacement for the Vanquish S, the DBS Volante represented a combination that AML had not offered for 10 years by putting their most powerful engine in their flagship open car.
